"The world ought to be treated like a playful child; whose smiles should delight, whose gambols should amuse, whose tears should soften, whose anger should alarm, whose vices should be corrected" - Unknown

If only we did look upon the world as a child, as our global child for which we are all caring parents looking to raise a loving caring child. A child for which the future holds nothing but promise, a child for whom we think of before we make rash decisions, a child who reminds us that we are not invincible, a child who shows us what love and laughter can do to mend most anything, a child who's screams of pain are not ignored, who's wounds' are quickly and tenderly tended to…a child who is our reason for being, our reason to do the best we can. If only the world were seen as a child…sadly we look not upon the world as a part of us, as something for which we should vest all of our care and concern in.  if only the world were seen as a child we would see less poverty, disease and violence.
