No matter what you say, or what you do, it all leaves a mark on the children around you. A child who witnesses violence and war, is forever scared by what they see. A child who hears nothing but negative, cannot erase the voice that says, “you can’t”. But the child who witnesses peace and love, will carry that with them forever and continue to share hope for the future.
We cannot erase the mistakes of the past, but we can leave a bigger impression on a child with hope, than with despair.

This is such a wonderful paragraph you have written here. I really like it. i’ll show my parents and they’ll read it out in church
I wonder what the world would be like, if we all applied this to our daily lives.
and yes! it shouldn’t hurt to be a child.

Nicole,
No it shouldn’t hurt to be a child, childhood should be a time of joy and laughter.
Rebekah,
Thank you for your kind words. I am honored that your family would share my words in a place of worship.
I too wonder what the world would be like if we all lived by so much of the worlds wisdom, and spent more time on truth and happiness, than greed and hate.
Thank you both!
Cassandra

This a beautiful short passage you have written. Our world leaders should take some note of it. They probably need some inspiration to stop what they’re doing right now and set things right.
No more poverty, starvation, and wars. The sooner we correct our actions, the less the future generation has to suffer.
I feel so stupid writing this now, some random high school kid…
but I’ll submit it before I have the urge to delete it all.
